Malaga-The Port

I love these wavy replicas of the sea. Even after two weeks of it.

When we left the port in the morning I snapped this photo of the union hall. Who knew we would be seeing the members themselves in the afternoon.

Quark does Arctic and Antarctic expeditions. What are they doing in Malaga harbor???

Port lighthouse.

La Pinta. Old Paint, as I like to refer to her. The original sank somewhere in the New World I believe.

Ferry. In the morning we saw a Fast Cat Ferry in this fleet. By afternoon it had fled. Remember the Fast Cat we took from Nova Scotia to Maine?

In the foreground you can see tourists leaving their busses because the demonstrators, waving the red and white flags in front of the van, are walking slowly and blocking the tourist busses and taxis from getting to the ships. Quite a few cops came on cycles, but apparently the workers have this right as the cops just scratched their heads and watched. I will point out that we made it to the ship and did not cross a picket line.

Here's our ship waiting for us with smoke coming out of the stacks.

While waiting to get back to the ship I got these shots of boats. Could be Susan will be interested.
