Around Town II

Remember the Hudson Bay Company,  It's still here only in department store form.

Photographers hate the wires strung all around the city, but..

Fun place for lunch.  Wonderful place to get cheese curds.
 I just liked this building.

Every city has it's symbol.  Apparently the firs thing to go on a DaVinci Moose is the rack.

Canadian shade.

 Hockey Hall of Fame.

Canada's Wall Street

This gold bank building actually has real gold in it's finish.

When the stock exchange is too small, build around it.

Yonge Dundas Square or Eaton Center is across the street.  Big time shopping for the likes of JC Penney shoppers.  The Millionaires Mile is Northwest of here.  There the sidewalks are made of granite.  Here we have concrete.

This used to be a free university where the counterculture reigned.  Nowadays it's a grocery but the sculpture remains.

Guess what was playing at this theater?  Tim Horton is somewhere near the rainbow.
Nice old theater.

CN Tower

We didn't go inside this tower.  We read that there can be a two hour wait at the bottom and the top for the lift.  Nevermind.

Perhaps you can see the little orange figures on the edge.  They paid about $150 CAD to hang out there   for awhile.  Some people propose there, but they have to use paper rings.

Angel winged building nearby.  Probably good idea.

Totonto-Our house

Our House is on the 17th floor.  This is the view from the terminal building.  Note construction.

We have a very tall neighbor.

We can be seen from the lake as well.

You mist look close to see Marcia and Charlotte waving.

Sweet little kitchen and fish tank to the right.  Not nice to flash in front of fish.

One view from the balcony, the terminal building reminds us we are in Canada.

Can you find the lobster shack?

Terminal building and lake with sails a tackin.
