Calais to Dover-Crossing and Dover

 

Calm seas on the channel.

 

White cliffs on a nearly perfect day.

 

Cliffs and Dover Castle.  Imagine a series of tunnels under that castle.

 

I walked from the terminal. At this point I felt that I might just be on the wrong side of the street.

I am still tired from that walk, but I loved it.  How often do you get to see this view?

 



 

I was knackered.  I saw a park cleaning man and asked how far to the Best Western and he pointed across the street.  Then I saw the Start/Finish line.
