This Chinese chicken is pretty fabulous.
Here is the lowly wood pigeon. I have been wanting to get you a photo of it that shows it's proportions. It is about the same size as this little chicken. I suspect it would be good to eat as well. I often think of how good it would be to take a gun after it when it wakes us at 5 am daily with it's cooing. Not the gentle cooing of it's smaller cousin (who annoys by flying up in ones face or slightly over ones head when one is walking down a crowded sidewalk-it has yet to leave a deposit on my head, but just knowing it could is unnerving).
