Just around the corner from the church is this arch. It reminds me that churches were once places of refuge for townspeople when there were violent invaders. Most of the violent invaders had gone to the same church and feared for their immortal souls if they killed in church. Good idea to build a bit of a barrier to help them remember though.
Build strong walls, but wouldn't hurt to put in a well known and compasionate mother over the door either. On the inside.
