This space was best understood by watching the architects on the video. Basically it was inspired by people of Mumbai who live in such spaces between buildings-this is their home and their homes are their temples, so there is a spiritual component to the actual spaces where people live and for the architects who were inspired by this space. They replicated, down to the tree, the space where people live. Lighting happens from above, and the only night light is by fire-candles or oil lamps.
I didn't go in. It felt way to claustrophobic to me.
