Lisbon-Streets to the Castle

The Castle is in the old neighborhood of Alfama. Like many midieval towns, the streets are narrow and winding in order to slow down invaders.

I would love to return and explore the neighborhood. One of the disadvantages of cruising is that one only has limited time in port. When we are in residence for two weeks we have time to spend a whole day finding the castle and exploring the castle and, having learned how to get to the castle, one might spend the next day exploring the neighborhood. Maybe another time.
