In addition to the usual cathedral stuff, we particularly enjoyed this cathedral, well, abbey actually, for it's feeling of openness and light. There is the usual stained glass and knight and his lady (though in this case he died much later than she and was buried elsewhere in spite of the lovely sculpture of them lounging about the abbey), but the modern altar cloth mimicks the ceiling and there was a king crowned here.King Edgar, of all kings, and QEII came her to commorate his coronation.
