Stuff Inside the Cathedral

Now that we are veteran cathedral visitors we have come to know the lay of the land. Vaulted ceilings that seem to go on forever, choir area, sometimes an altar before the choir area, altar after the choir area, Saint interred just behind that altar with an altar of his/her own, and little altars at the back with their own stained glass windows, transepts with their little chapels and altars and stained glass, a bishop or 20 complete with miter and sometimes in his own little elaborate house, a knight sometimes with his lady, baptismal font, new and modern art pieces, great old doors.
