Clisson-Lemol Mansion Inside

This day was artists day and nowhere more than this Mansion. The artists inside were all in their 20's and doing the unconventional things that artists do these days. All of these are works in progress. There is also the art of Lemol.

One rather novel piece of, dare I use the term, concrete art was this car with a bolder strapped on top. In this photo you can see a small representation as well as part of the real thing parked outside. There was a video showing various travels of what I dubbed the rock and roll car. The artist named it Sisyphus. We pretty much all agreed that it detracted from the beauty of the place.

Diana was a favorite of Mr. Lemol.

Apparently Lemol won the Prize of Rome for this carving of King Solomon.

Old fireplace, new use.

Annie has convinced Marcia to come inside.
