On the Road to St Malo

I spotted this machine and pulled over to get some photos. I'll ask Jean-Louis and Annie if they know what it was for. Look for addendum...

Next to the machine was a cathedral.



Here is our picnic spot in an "Aire" along the way to St Malo. I'm thinking that I might like a granite grave marker like this so people could enjoy lovely picnic dinners over my final resting place. That granite should go to good use.

Cannot give the bathrooms any stars. Women's room was unusable and the mens required precarious ballance. However, on the trip home the Aire bathroom had your basic ceramic foot rest and hole in the floor. Real balancing act. It gets negative stars.
