Lucern

These next few blog posts are from Lucern-the lake the mountain (Pilatus) and the train ride to and from. I loved the houses and barns! Some photos are from the train, so photo quality may not be even as good as my quickly snapped photos from outside.

It is now about a week since we were in Lucern. Today we have had lunch in such a French way. On the terrace-a salad of peas and carrots and fresh tomatoes with a creamy dressing and of course, baguette. This followed by an assortment of cheeses including appellation d origine controle-locally made cheeses known for their region-terrior being important here. Bigotte de Condrieu Fromage de Chevre au lait cru-also with baguette. Then came the fruit-we bought fresh cherries and Tony bought fresh apricots in the market in the village this morning. All served with wine. Consequently, Tony is napping, I am trying to put together the blogs while we are at the house (as opposed to the inn where we think there is no internet), and Marcia is reading the brocures of things to do in the area-in French. So, if there is little sense to the order of the photo blogs, blame the wine and the rush. I also have laundry on the line.
