Bath's third incarnation is as a tourist destination for the less than rich and famous.






One clue that this is a planned town is the wide street. This street lead from the houses to Parade street. This was a place to see and be seen.























I believe this is the river Avon, or Avone that flows through the city of Bath. Since Avon was the Saxon word for "river", I would be correct.























Bath has won the city gardening competition so many times that it has been asked to bow out so someone else can win for a change. This is a little park down by the river. Some people still go here to see and be seen.
