Gaudi designed the center of the house using the strong light of the Mediterranean. The top floors where the light is most intense are dark tiles, and they progressively lighten, to reflect more light, as one descends. The center of the house is the most "under the sea" feeling. That in itself has a cooling effect. I have included the views from the glass that complete this feeling.
