Lyon-Day Four-Ho Ho Bus

The Tears of Baccus.

St Georges.

Pool near University.

Only Lyon frontwards with the old hospital that will be rennovated for a hotel.

From the left bank of the Rhone looking up Bellecour. You can see the bouquet, the hospital tower, the Norte Dame on the hills above in the distance and the little tower.

The hospital tower that I showed you on day 1.

Hotel de Ville square. Love the juxtaposition of the guy with the fez and the segway riders. We;ll see a wedding here later.

Old column in the middle of a street.

Bouquet from the back of the bus.

Our Ho ho bus starts here. I ws considering whether this might be the right backpack for me. Cute little girl in the ever so often seen vertical stripes that say, "I am French!"

You may remember that last weekend Bellecour Square was bare naked except for those watching and playing that French bowling balls game. This weekend it is all about plants and flowers. We watched a bargefull of trees being unloaded by crane one day and voila, the square was transformed. More later.
