Lisbon-City Center







Eiffel built this elevator in the middle of downtown Lisbon.







I always say that when you see an arch like this one, you should walk through it and see what's on the other side.






I wasn't disappointed.






Here you get to see the waves from another direction, but if you click on the photo to make it big you might be able to see that there are weeds growing on the tiled roof.








This main thoroughfare is lined with shops on both sides and cafe's in the middle. It runs from the Justice Palace (remember the yellow arched building where I went searching for the metro?) to the wavy square. Very nice.










It has a Ben and Jerry's...






and an electric cop car.





You might think with all of the churches in Lisbon that they might not need a bank like this.





And, right across the street is this bank. Go figure!
