Probably I first read about this structure in my 1957 Weekly Reader. There was a World's Fair here, and this celebrated the age of the atom. There is a restaurant at the top and an elevator will get you from the ground to the restaurant in 20 seconds. My photos are from the Ho ho bus driving under the structure.
