This is the base of a statue about Belgian's becoming a republic. The base is tombs of the unknown soldiers and there is an eternal flame. You may remember that Flander's Fields are in Belgium.
Huge monuments and fountain.
Other side of fountain with statue of Elizabeth. From the bus it looked like the UK Queen Elizabeth. Not sure.
I call this the double diaphram statue. Don't know it's real name.
Triumphant gate like Brandenberg is in Berlin. I'll find out it's name...
